The instant petition has been filed only with a limited prayer. The petitioner was terminated on 06.01.2014, thereafter against such termination, the petitioner has preferred a departmental appeal before the respondent No.3 on 20.11.2017 vide Annexure P/2. A prayer has been made that the said appeal may be decided by the respondent No.3 as the said termination order has an adverse affect to the livelihood to the petitioner and his family members.

Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner and considering the fact that the petitioner after termination has preferred a departmental appeal before the respondent No.3, which is pending for adjudication, therefore,
-2without any observation on the merits of the case, it is directed that the respondent No.3 shall decide the said departmental appeal, which is filed by the petitioner within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

It is expected that the petitioner shall also cooperate during the course of hearing.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
