The State Counsel submits that pending the writ petition before this Court with no interim relief in favour of the petitioner, the State Election Commission has already conducted election and result has already been notified.
In view of the fact that Election has already been conducted. According to the State Counsel, the matter has since been infructuous.
Given the said submission by the State Counsel, this Court is also of the opinion that in the light of election having already been held and the result having been notified.
Accordingly the present writ petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous, reserving the right of the petitioner to avail any other remedies available to them.
