--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hon'ble Shri Justice Goutam Bhaduri Order on Board 17.08.2018 1.
The instant petition is filed with a prayer to decide the representation dated 14.05.2018 made to the S.D.O. Revenue by the villagers of the Gram Panchayat Chhatouna, Tahsil Takhatpur, District Bilaspur.
2.
It is contended that the representation was made to the S.D.O. that at Village Chhatouna, a water body namely Dubey Talab is being destroyed and after siphoning the water, the land is being sold; therefore, the representation may be decided. 3.
Perusal of the representation would show that the prayer is also made to remove certain persons from their post who have not performing their duties. The Court is not inclined to go into such
matter, however, taking into the letter dated 25.11.2017 & 23.12.2017 filed as Annexure P-6 & P-7 wherein communication is made to save the water body namely Dubey Talab with certain grievances for destroying of the same, it has to be looked into by the Revenue Officer. Therefore, it is directed that the representation made by the petitioner be decided by the respective authority to find out the damage if any done to the water body of the village, which has been described in the representation. For other grievances, the petitioner may approach to different forum. With respect to the allegation made about destroy of water body, the State would be obliged to decide the representation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter may proceed accordingly.
4.
With such observation, the petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (Goutam Bhaduri) Judge Ashok
