In the instant Writ Petition, the petitioner while working on the post of Assistant Teacher in Tribal Department went on leave on 01/01/2009 and resumed her duties on 03/02/2016. Thereafter, the petitioner has been granted joining by the respondents and she has been discharging her duties uninterruptedly since then.

The grievance of the petitioner is that, though she has been discharging her duties from 03/02/2016, for last 2 years, she has not been paid any 1⁄2 salary and thus the counsel for the petitioner prays for issuance of suitable direction in this regard.

Considering the relief to which the petitioner has confined himself i.e. for a direction to release of salary, this Court does not intend to keep the Writ Petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondents No. 2 & 3 to ensure that if the petitioner is discharging her duties since 03/02/2016 till date, then the salary for the said period should be released to the petitioner forthwith without any delay within an outer limit of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
