Grievance of Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is the non-granting of increment which was withheld for the period of one year vide Order dated 17.11.2016 passed by Respondent No.3.

According to learned Counsel for Petitioner, pursuant to the said order of minor punishment, Respondent No.3 has implemented the same and has not granted one increment to the Petitioner. Subsequently, the Petitioner stood retired from services on 30.6.2018. The said stoppage of one increment ought to have been restored back after a period of one year. However, since the Petitioner had retired in between he has not been given the same. 3.

Given the limited grievance that the Petitioner has, the present Writ Petition is being disposed of at this juncture directing Respondents No. 2 and 3 to take appropriate decision so far as restoring of one increment which was withheld on account of minor punishment, if the same has not been restored till now. Let appropriate decision in this regard be taken by Respondents within a period of 90 days from the date of presentation of copy of this order by the Petitioner. 4.
