1. The applicant has filed this application for grant of anticipatory bail as he is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.69 of 2016 registered at Police Station Bijapur, Distt. Bijapur, for the offence punishable under Section 376 IPC.

2. The allegation against the applicant, as per prosecution, is that the applicant on the pretext of marriage has maintained physical relationship with the complainant for a considerable period of time and thereafter has refused to marry her.

3. Considering the nature of allegations levelled against the applicant and also considering the statement of prosecutrix, this court is of the opinion that no good ground is made out for granting anticipatory bail to the applicant.
