1. The grievance of the petitioner seems to be the inaction on the part of the respondents in not considering the grant of salary to the petitioner for the period between September, 2017 to October, 2018.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had already made a repeated approach to the respondent authorities to consider for treating the said period as medical leave and he prays that petitioner be granted appropriate salary for the said intervening period.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, counsel for respondent no.1 submits that it appears the matter has already been placed before respondent no.1 on the recommendation made by the respondent no.2 and respondent no.2 has issued a letter only on 13.09.2021 Annexure P-

-211 and thereafter, an appropriate decision is expected to be taken at the earliest.

4. Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, particularly taking note of the fact that respondent no.2 has already made the recommendation in favour of the petitioner to the respondent no.1 vide Annexure P-1 dated 13.09.2021, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.1 to take appropriate decision on the recommendation made by the respondent no.2 vide Annexure P-1 dated 13.09.2021 at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
