Aggrieved by the order Annexure P/1 dated 24.07.2021, whereby the services of the petitioner has been attached as the Nodal Officer (Sports).

The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner ought to had been considered for appointment to the post of District Sports Officer instead of Nodal Officer (Sports) and the post of District Sports Officer is also lying vacant, but the claim of the petitioner has been ignored

by the respondents and the order has been passed by the Collector who is not otherwise competent to issue such an order, as the petitioner otherwise holds a class-I post and the posting of the petitioner should not have been decided by the Collector. The petitioner has already made a representation (Annexure P/5) dated 02.08.2021 in this regard to the respondent No.3. 3.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition at this juncture disposed of directing the respondents No.3 to take an appropriate decision on the representation that the petitioner has made at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. In addition, the petitioner is also at liberty to file a fresh representation in respect of his grievances that he has.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
