Only limited prayer of the petitioner is that correction for mutation in the revenue record was ordered by the SDO on 31/03/2014 in appeal preferred by the petitioner. In the appeal mutation order dated 31/12/1996 was set aside. Consequently, the correction of the revenue records of mutation entry were to be made as per terms of order of appellate court. It is contended that despite such order passed and several correspondence were made in between the revenue officers but eventually the same has not been corrected till date. Therefore the revenue officer may be directed to correct the revenue record as per the order of the SDO dated 31/03/2014.

Perused the order of the SDO dated 31/03/2014 wherein the SDO Raigarh has directed for cancellation of mutation dated 31/12/1996 and

direction have been made for correction of the mutation of name in revenue records. If such appellate order has not been turned down by any other forum, respective revenue officer is obliged to obey the same. Therefore, it is directed that the concerned authority/officer who is said to be revenue inspector in the instant case or any other officer so authorized who is empowered to correct the revenue record shall correct the revenue entry as per the terms of the order passed by the SDO dated 31/03/2014. The petitioner may appear before the concerned authority on 6th September, 2019. The concerned authority thereafter shall comply with the order of the SDO within a further period of three weeks. 3.
