1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has prayed for in the present writ petition is the inaction of the part of the respondents to not granting wages/salary during the period the petitioner was on sick leave.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that there are around 100 days of sick leaves in his credit available and hence he was entitled for the wages of 100 days period which the respondents have not considered.

Given the limited dispute that petitioner has the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent No.3, 4 & 6 to scrutinize the claim of the petitioner for grant of wages during the sick period to the extent of leave that is their in his credit subject to verification of facts. In addition, the petitioner would also be required to submit and complete all other requisite formalities enabling him to get the benefit of sick leave in terms of the rules governing the field.

4. Let this exercise be concluded within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
