Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is working as Assistant Grade - III and he is entitled for promotion to the post of Assistant Grade - II, from the date his juniors were promoted i.e. 09/10/2015.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation to respondent No.1 claiming promotion to the post of Assistant Grade - II from the date his juniors were promoted. Respondent No.1 shall decide representation of the petitioner strictly, in accordance with law within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
