Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by order dated 12.07.2019 the petitioner has been transferred from the office of the District Institute of Educational Training (DIET) Korba to District Education Office, Korba. According to the set up, the petitioner is an Accountant and out of two sanctioned posts, the petitioner is working in one post. If the petitioner is transferred, the office shall be left vacant.

2. Without making any observation on the merits of the case and considering the fact that it is the prerogative of the State to decide the place of posting and also within the domain of the State to

-2transfer an employee and to run the office, liberty is given to the petitioner to make a representation to the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted by the State to decide the cases of transfer, within a period of 7 days from today and the Grievance Redressal Committee may decide the same within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the representation. Till then, the transfer in respect of the petitioner shall not be given effect to.

3. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
