(1) This is an office reference.

(2) Perused the request letter dated 15.10.2020 sent by Special Judge (NDPS), Ambikapur, Surguja seeking extension time of three months for disposal of Special Criminal (NDPS) Case No.14/2019.

(3) While passing the order dated 05.08.2020 in M.Cr.C. No.3563/2020, this Court directed the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the case preferably within a period of three months from the date of resuming regular work of the Court.

(4) Subordinate Courts are functioning the regular work from today. Hence, there is no need to extend further time of three months for disposal of the said case.

(5) Accordingly, Cr.M.P. is disposed of.
