1. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for final settlement of his pension and gratuity payable to him which till date has not been finalized inspite of fact that the petitioner retired from service w.e.f. 30.09.2012.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the counsel for the petitioner submits that let the writ petition be disposed of at this juncture directing the respondent No.2 to take a decision in respect of entitlement of full pension to the petitioner as also the claim of the petitioner for release of gratuity on his retirement.

3. The limited prayer has not been opposed by the State counsel with a rider that the claim of the petitioner would be considered purely in accordance with rules and regulations governing the field so far as entitlement part is concerned.

Accordingly, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to consider the claim of the petitioner for final settlement of his pension and for release of gratuity at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
