1. The applicants have preferred this application for grant of bail as they are arrested in connection with Crime No.301/2020 registered in Police Station Kondagaon, for offence under Section 20-B of the NDPS Act.
2. The applicants were found carrying illicit Ganja weighed at 9.670 kg while they were travelling in a Alto vehicle on 11.10.2020.
3. Having considered the quantity of contraband Ganja, I am not inclined to admit any of the applicants to regular bail. Accordingly, the application is rejected. However, considering that the mother of
applicant No.2 has died on 22.12.2020 for which a certificate issued by the Councillor of Ward No.28 of Municipal Corporation, Ujjain has been filed, the said applicant is allowed temporary bail only for a period of 30 days from the date of his release, on his executing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.1 lakh with one local surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He shall positively surrender immediately after the expiry of 30 days, failing which the concerned police shall be entitled to arrest him.
