The petitioner has filed this petition with limited grievance regarding inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in deciding petitioner's application for regular stage carriage permit. It is stated that the application was submitted on 15.03.2018, but till date, it has not been decided.

On the other hand, learned State counsel submits that if any such application is pending before the authority, the same will be considered and decided in accordance with law as early as possible.

Taking into consideration the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to consider and decide the petitioner's application for grant of regular stage carriage permit within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
