The relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner seeking permission to participate in the departmental examination for the filling up of the post of Circle Organizer as per the notice issued by the Department dated 16.10.2020.

After arguing for sometime, the counsel for the petitioner submits that as of now he seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation that the petitioner has filed in respect of granting relaxation to the petitioner for participating in

the said departmental examination in terms of clause 19 of the Rules governing the field.

The aforesaid limited prayer is not opposed by the State counsel. 4.

Accordingly, the limited prayer of the petitioner for deciding his representation stands allowed and the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.1 to take an appropriate decision in accordance with the Rules governing the field at the earliest. 5.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner. The respondent No.1 is expected to take a decision on its own merits. It is expected that the respondent shall take a decision at the earliest preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
