This writ petition is directed against the notices issued to the petitioner vide Annexure - P/2 by the Estate Officer under the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupant) Act, 1971 (for brevity, 'Act of 1971') to vacate the premises.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the impugned notices are arbitrary and illegal in law. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the impugned notices with utmost circumspection.

Since, notice has been issued to the petitioner, petitioner is at liberty to file reply to the said notice before the concerned authority that will be considered and decided by the said authority in accordance with law.

However, if petitioner is aggrieved by that order, he would be at liberty to file revision under Section 9 of the Act of 1971 before the Appellate Authority. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
