1. The limited relief sought for by the petitioner is for an appropriate direction to the respondents for considering his application for grant of medical leave which the petitioner has submitted before the respondent authorities.

2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner herein working on the post of Secretary, Gram Panchayat, Rajga, Block Sakti met with a Tractor accident on 15.07.2020 resulting in sustaining grievous injuries and the petitioner had to remain hospitalized for a considerable period of time. He was also in continuous medical treatment for almost an year. When the petitioner recovered from injuries he reported for duties along with an application for medical leave which till date is pending consideration before the authorities.

3. According to the petitioner, the respondent No.3 has ultimately now permitted the petitioner to resume his duties w.e.f. 02.07.2021.

4. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No.2 & 3 to take an

-2appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of medical leave considering the medical conditions from the medical documents which the petitioner shall furnish along with representation before the respondent authorities in this regard. Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of representation.
