Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 23.08.2018 The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for grant of compassionate appointment.

Facts of the case are that the father of the petitioner died in harness on 16.11.2000. Thereafter, mother of the petitioner also has expired. At the time of death of his father the petitioner was a minor and immediately on attaining the age of majority he preferred representation for grant of compassionate appointment. The petitioner has repeatedly made representations to the respondents in this regard but the same are still pending consideration before the respondents.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has lost both his parents, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment sympathetically ignoring the aspect of limitation and issue an appropriate order at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
