Petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the revenue proceedings drawn by the respondent No.2 for removal of encroachment made by some of the villagers.

Perusal of the document (Annexure-P-1) would reveal that proceeding for removal of encroachment has been initiated against one Punarad, however, petitioner is not a party to the

said proceeding, therefore, the petition is not maintainable. Whether or not a writ petition in the nature of PIL would lie in such matter need not be considered by this Court at this stage, because the present writ petition has not been preferred in the nature of PIL. If any such petition is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered on its own merits.
