1. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.331/2020, registered at Police Station Navagarh, District- Bemetara C.G. for the offence punishable under Section 20(B) of the NDPS Act.
2. Applicant was found in illicit possession of four pieces of cannabis ( ganja) plant weighing 1.5 kg.
3. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

4. Considering the quantity/weight of the cannabis (ganja) plant recovered from the applicant; he is in jail since 21.10.2020; charge sheet has already been filed and also for the fact that the concerned SHO has not reported any previous antecedent of having committed similar nature of crime, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.
5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
