The limited prayer that Petitioner makes in the present Writ Petition is that of considering the length of service that Petitioner has served as a Guest Lecturer/Training Officer under Respondent No.4, the Petitioner be considered for regularization.

According to learned Counsel for Petitioner, the Petitioner was initially appointed in the year 2008 as a Guest Lecturer/Training Officer and since then the Petitioner has been continuously working on the said post uninterruptedly and by now the Petitioner has put in 13 years of service. Contention of learned Counsel for Petitioner is that the post against which the Petitioner is working is lying vacant at the Institute and therefore the Respondents should consider regularizing the services of Petitioner taking into account the experience that Petitioner has.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing Respondents No.1 to 3 to take appropriate decision on the claim of Petitioner for regularization in services under Respondents. Let a decision in this regard be taken at the earliest, preferably within an outer limit of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

It shall be the responsibility of Petitioner to apprise the Respondents in respect of the Order passed by this Court today. In addition, the Petitioner would be at liberty to make a fresh representation in respect of the claim that Petitioner has raised.

With aforesaid direction/observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
