Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board /01/2021 1.
The defaults pointed out by the Registry of this Court in the instant case stand ignored for the time being.
2.
Heard the matter finally with the consent of learned Counsels appearing for the respective parties.
3.
Grievance of the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is the non-granting of revised pay scale on his completing the eight years of service. 4.
Petitioner was initially appointed in the Panchayat Department and subsequently has been again taken in the Urban Administration Department. However, the Department is not accepting the total length of service rendered by the Petitioner both under the Panchayat Department as well as under the Urban Administration Department for the purpose of granting of revised pay scale. 5.
Learned Counsels appearing for the respective parties fairly submit that the issue raised in the present Writ Petition stands squarely covered by a bunch of Writ Petitions decided by this Court on 27.10.2018, the leading case being W.P.S. No. 6147 of 2018 (Shabnum Khatun Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and others). 6.
Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the present Writ Petition also deserves to be and is accordingly disposed of in similar terms as in the case of Shabnum Khatun (supra). Petitioner would be entitled for the benefit as prayed for subject to verification of the case by the Department so far as the length of service and other eligibility criterias are concerned. 7.
Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) /sharad/ JUDGE
