Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 14/08/2018
1. The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that though the petitioner has retired from service on 31.03.2018, the respondents have till date not released the retiral benefits, like gratuity, transfer allowances, etc.
2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that initially he was told that the retiral dues have not been paid to him on account of his not vacating the official quarter allotted to him and that the same has however already vacated by him on 01.03.2018 and the receipt of which has been produced along with the petition as Annexure P/4.
3. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not intend to keep the petition pending. Let the respondent No.1 scrutinize the case of the petitioner and subject to the verification of the facts as stated by the petitioner, his entire retiral dues be cleared at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of order of this Court.
4. The writ petition accordingly stands allowed and disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Ved
