The challenge in this petition is to the order of appointment dated 30.06.2018 (Annexure P/1) issued in favour of the respondent No.5 ignoring the petitioner who is a more meritorious candidate. The order has been passed by the Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, Odgi, Distt. Surajpur (CG).

The counsel for the petitioner submits that he has raised an objection in respect of wrong appointment given to the respondent No.5, however, till date no decision has been taken by the Collector.

Given the said factual matrix of the case, let the petitioner file a duly constituted appeal before the respondent No.2 within a period of 15 days from today and on receipt of said appeal, the respondent No.2-Collector, Surajpur shall take a suitable decision after scrutinizing the entire documents so far as the appeal and merits of the petitioner as compared to the respondent No.5 is concerned within a further period of 60 days. 4.

With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands allowed and disposed of.
