The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the order Annexure-P/1 dated 23/05/2016 whereby the petitioner was transferred from Bilaspur to Dantewada.

The petitioner had got an interim protection by this Court on 24/06/2016. 3.
The Writ Petition is of the year 2016 and is pending consideration before this Court for almost 2 years.

The respondents have subsequently filed a document dated 22/11/2016 whereby the petitioner has been called back from Dantewada to Bilaspur vide order Annexure-R/2.

In view of the same, by efflux of time, the Writ Petition has rendered infructuous to the extent that the order Annexure-P/1 dated 23/05/2016 stands modified vide order dated 22/11/2016.

It is ordered that, maintaining the status-quo as it exists today, the present Writ Petition stands disposed off restraining the respondents to act upon the impugned order any further with liberty to pass a fresh order of transfer in case administrative exigency so arises.
