1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made application for compassionate appointment but that has not been considered and decided.
2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner is not entitled for compassionate appointment.
3. Be that as it may, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by passing a speaking and reasoned order. It is made clear that this Court has not
expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
4. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
