The limited prayer which the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents for an early conclusion of the departmental enquiry.

The petitioner in the instant case is posted as Supervisor in the Women and Child Development Department. The petitioner has been subjected to disciplinary proceeding and the same is pending consideration for quite some time. The only request the petitioner makes is, for a direction to the respondents for an early conclusion of the department enquiry. 3.

Learned counsel for the State does not have any objection in disposing of the writ petition acceding the prayer of the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to issue appropriate direction to the Enquiry Officer

ensuring that the departmental enquiry is concluded at the earliest preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the State shall issue necessary instructions to respondent no.2 for issuance of appropriate directions. 6.
