Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 23.08.2018 The limited request which the petitioner has made in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to decide the application for change of posting that the petitioner has made to the competent authority. 2.

Though the relief sought for seems to be an innocuous relief but the law regarding transfer is also well settled that in the event of the employee having any grievance so far as his posting is concerned, the employee has a right to make a representation to the authorities in the department.

Given the fact, let the representation of the petitioner be decided by the authority concerned in accordance with the rules and guidelines governing the filed.

With the aforesaid observation, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
