It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that the award was passed on 30/07/2016 wherein the petitioners were held entitled to get amount of Rs.15560190/- which was subsequently informed to them to receive the amount by Annexure P-3. According to the petitioners amount has not been paid despite several visits to the office of the Land Acquisition Officer.

Considering the entire facts of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction that in the eventuality the amount is not disbursed for which the petitioners are lawfully entitled to receive, SDO (Revenue), Champa, District Janjgir-Champa shall disburse the amount of compensation to the petitioners within a period of 30 days from the date of
presentation of copy of this order. Petitioners entitlement to the interest on the awarded amount is left open to be determined as and when the petitioners make prayer for which liberty is reserved in their favour. Sd/- (Goutam Bhaduri) JUDGE gouri
