1. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.242/2020, registered at Police Station Lailunga, Distt. Raigarh C.G., for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the IPC.

2. As per the prosecution case, applicant has committed forcible sexual intercourse with the prosecutrix in the evening of 20.10.2020. The FIR was lodged on the very

MCRC No. 8741 of 2020 next of day of the incident.

3. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

4. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail at this stage.

5. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. However, liberty is reserved in favour of the applicant to revive the prayer after examination of the prosecutrix.
