2. The petitioners have preferred this writ petition to direct the respondent No.2 to consider their case for grant of promotion in accordance with the provision of Chhattisgarh Teacher (Panchayat) Cadre (Bharti Tatha Seva Ke Sharte) Niyam, 2012.

3. The petitioners herein are working in different Schools under Nagriya Nikay in Block Pathalgaon, District Jashpur. The petitioners have claimed for promotion from the post of Assistant Teacher to Teacher (Nagriya Nikay) and they have also made representation (Annexure P/3) in this regard on 14.03.2019, however, no decision yet has been taken on the said representation. Therefore, the petitioners pray that the respondent

-2authorities may be directed to decide the representation which the petitioners have made, at the earliest.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioners, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction that the respondent No.2 shall decide the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2019 (Annexure P/3) expeditiously preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order in accordance with law and procedure.

5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
