Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his application for grant of colonizer license was rejected on the ground of pendency of criminal case against the petitioner. However, during the pendency of the writ petition the petitioner stands acquitted in the said criminal case. Therefore, the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to avail other remedies. Prayer is allowed.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to avail other remedies available to him in accordance with rules.
