1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.05/2020, registered at Police Station D.R.I. Raipur C.G., for the offence punishable under Section 8/20 (b), 2(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that applicant along with seven other accused persons was allegedly found in illicit possession of 837.97 kgs of cannabis (ganja).

4. Learned Assistant Solicitor General of India would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

5. Considering the whopping quantity of psychotropic substance recovered from the applicant, I am not inclined to release the present applicant on bail.
