Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's father died in harness on 27/04/2007. The petitioner, after attaining majority, moved application for compassionate appointment on 15/03/2010, which was forwarded by respondent No.5 to respondent No.4 and is still pending

consideration.

Be that as it may, respondents 3 and 4 are directed to decide petitioner's application for compassionate appointment within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order in accordance with law by a reasoned and speaking order.
