The claim of the petitioner in this petition was for quashment of the order dated 04.10.2017 (Annexure P/1) whereby the name of the petitioner has not been reflected in the order of promotion though his name in the gradation list was above some of whom who were granted promotion vide Annexure P/1.

A perusal of records show that the petitioner has not made any representation to the respondents and have straightway filed this petition. 3.

Given the aforesaid facts, this court is not inclined to entertain this petition at this juncture. The petition stands disposed of, reserving right of the petitioner to make a detailed representation to the respondent No.3, who, in turn, shall consider the contents of the representation and also would consider whether infact the petitioner was senior to the persons who have been granted promotion. If yes, why his name was not included in the order of promotion.

Let a reasoned order in this regard be passed by the respondent No.3 giving intimation of the same to the petitioner within a period of 45 days from the date the petitioner makes a representation before the respondent No.3 in this regard.
