These are the two applications filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicants, who have been arrested in connection with Crime No.214/2020 registered at Police Station Barankela, District Raigarh (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 20(B) of the NDPS Act.

3. The present applicants were found in joint illicit possession of 3 Kg of Ganja during search on 15.10.2020.

4. Learned counsel for the State would oppose the prayer for grant of bail. However, the concerned SHO has not reported any previous antecedents of the applicants.

5. Considering that the applicants are in jail since 15.10.2020 and the charge sheet has already been filed as also considering the quantity of contraband recovered from the applicants and there being no previous antecedents of the applicant, I am inclined to release the applicants on regular bail.
