1. The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents for releasing difference of arrears of pay which the petitioner is entitled for on account of revision of pay granted to the petitioner.
2. According to counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was entitled for an amount of Rs.81,667/- as arrears of pay, of which the petitioner has only been paid an amount of Rs.49,907/- and there is an amount of Rs.31,760/- which is yet to be paid to the petitioner, which till date has not been released. The petitioner has been approaching the authorities in the department, but till date no steps have been taken by the authorities concerned.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No.2 to 4 to take appropriate decision so far as arrears of pay that the petitioner is entitled for on account of revision of pay that is taken place, at the earliest, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No.2 to 4 so far as order passed by this court is concerned.
