Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 27.08.2018 Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order Annexure P-4 dated 14.07.2018 whereby the petitioner has been posted from Police Chowki Litia-Sameria to Police Line Durg.

The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has been subjected to frequent order of transfer and present is a fourth order of transfer that too within a short span of 8 months.

However, perusal of the record would show that couple of transfer orders have not been acted upon at all and therefore they may not have much relevance. Moreover, the distance between the two places i.e. from Police Chowki Litia-Sameria to Police Line Durg is just about 20 kilometers. Thus, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition only on the ground that the distance between the two place of posting is too short a distance, which could be cause any inconvenience to the petitioner. 4.

At this juncture, counsel for the petitioner submits that accidentally the petitioner has sustained injuries in the course of his duty and he has received vision problem in his left eye, therefore, the authorities have been kind enough to take table work from him at the same time the petitioner is being subjected to frequent transfer. 5.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner make a suitable representation in this regard to the higher authorities in the Department who in turn shall sympathetically consider the case of the petitioner and try to not subject him to frequent change or posting.
