1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent No.4 was granted a license to run insecticide shop and the period of license was up till 31.12.2019 according to the copy of the license; however, till date the respondent No.4 is running the shop even expiry of the license period. Therefore, the petitioner has made a complaint to the respondent No.2, the Licensing Authority & Deputy Director Agriculture, District JanjgirChampa on 09.10.2020; however, despite the fact the period for license has lapsed, the respondent No.2 is not taking any cognizance of it.

2. Considering the nature of complaint made, no purpose would be served to keep the petition pending. Under the circumstances, if the petitioner has already made a complaint to the respondent No.2 who is Licensing

-2Authority & Deputy Director Agriculture, District Janjgir-Champa and the license of respondent No.4 Basant Gabel has already expired, in such case, the Licensing Authority is directed to decide the application of the petitioner within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
