This petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been brought praying for correction in the name of the applicant in cause title and the police station mentioned in the first paragraph of the order dated 22.07.2019, passed in M.Cr.C. No.3789/2019.

It is submitted that the name of the applicant has been erroneously mentioned as Billu Kapoor, whereas his real name is Billu Dewar, S/o. Gyani Dewar. Similarly, in the first paragraph of the order, the police station - has also wrongly been mentioned as Bhilai-3, whereas the actual Police Station is Kumhari, District - Durg. Therefore, it is prayed that the order for correction may be passed.

State counsel opposes the petition.

On perusal of the copy of the bail rejection order, which has been filed along with the petition, it is found mentioned in the order of the 7th Additional Sessions Judge, Durg that name of the petitioner is Billu Dewar. Therefore, the prayer made has substance. 5.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed. It is directed that in the cause title of the order dated 22.07.2019, passed in M.Cr.C.No.3789/2019, the name of the applicant - Billu Kapoor be read as Billu Dewar, S/o. Gyani Dewar and the police station - Bhilai-3 mentioned in the first paragraph of the order be also read as Police Station - Kumhari, District - Durg.

Copy of this order be made a part of the order dated 22.07.2019, passed in M.Cr.C. No.3789 of 2019.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
