1. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicants, who have been arrested in connection with Crime No.91/2020, registered at Police Station Singhora, District Mahasamund C.G. for the offence punishable under Section 20(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

2. The applicants were found in illicit possession of 6 kgs of cannabis (ganja), when they were traveling on a motorcycle

MCRC No. 8205 of 2020 on NH53 near Riyaj Dhaba, Ganiyaripali within Police Station Singhora, District Mahasamund.

3. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

4. Considering the fact that the charge-sheet has already filed and also for the fact that the applicants have been found in joint possession of 6 kgs of cannabis (ganja); they are in jail since 22.10.2020, I am inclined to release the applicants on bail.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on each of them executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. They are directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
