1. At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that he has a very limited prayer in the present petition that is for a direction to the respondent No. 4 to decide the application moved for correction in the revenue records under the provision of the Chattisgarh Land Revenue Code.

2. To the limited prayer that the petitioner has made, the respondents/State does not have any strong objection.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 4 to consider/decide the pending application of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner. The authorities i.e. respondent No. 4 shall decide the application purely in accordance with law.
