The applicant has preferred this bail application as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No.69/2017, registered at Police Station Rairuma Khurd, District Raigarh (C.G.) for offence punishable under Sections 307 & 324 IPC.

The applicant and injured Sonmat Bai and her husband Tihar Sai were working in the brick kiln of one Dondi Sardar. On the date of incident, the injured persons were paid Rs.500/- more than the applicant, therefore, the applicant became jealous and in the evening when the injured persons came to the house of one Gadaram Rathia, the applicant abused, assaulted the injured
Tihar Sai by kicks and thereafter pushed the lady Sonmat Bai into burning earthen oven (chulha).

Sonmat Bai has received superficial burn injuries which, according to the Medical Officer, can be cured within a week or 15 days.

The applicant is aged about 60 years and is in jail since 11.03.2017. The charge sheet has already been filed. Considering the entire facts situation of the case, this Court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed.

The applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond in sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the trial Court. The applicant is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
