1. The limited grievance that the petitioner raises is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not granting the benefit of third time scale pay to the petitioner on completion of 30 years of service. Further grievance of the petitioner is also in respect of non granting of benefit of leave encashment.

2. According to the petitioner, he stood retired under the respondents w.e.f. 31.08.2020 but till date he has not received any amount of money towards leave encashment and at the same time the petitioner also has been deprived of the benefit of third time scale pay which he is otherwise entitled for as per circular dated 08.08.2018. The petitioner submits that while he was in service he has received first and second time scale pay and it is only the third time scale pay which has not been granted to the petitioner.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No.2 to 4 to immediately process the claim of the petitioner so far as grant of third time scale pay as also grant of benefit of leave encashment, subject to verification of his entitlement part, at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
