1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.85/2020 registered in Police Station Premnagar, District Surajpur for offence under Section 20-B of the NDPS Act.

2. The applicant was found in illicit possession of 1 kg 30 grams of contraband Ganja when search was carried in his house on 13.10.2020.

3. Considering the quantity of contraband recovered from the applicant and for the fact that he is in jail since 14.10.2020 and no previous antecedent has been informed by the concerned SHO, I am inclined to

MCRC No. 8317 of 2020 release him on bail.

4. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
