1. By way of this writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction to the respondents authorities to release him on ordinary leave under Chhattisgarh Prisoners Leave Rules, 1989.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's application for grant of

leave is not being considered by the Director General of Prisoners and Correctional Services, Raipur, which may be directed to be considered expeditiously.

3. Be that as it may, the Director General of Prisoners and Correctional Services, Raipur is directed to consider the petitioner's application for release on leave under the Chhattisgarh Prisoners Leave Rules, 1989, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously.

4. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
