The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.32/2017 registered in Police Station Sankra, District Mahasamund, C.G. for the offence punishable under Section 20(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2.
As per the prosecution case, on a raid being conducted on 19/02/2017 from the possession of the applicant 2 kg. cannabis was seized thereby he committed the offence.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in jail since 19-02-2017. He further submits that charge sheet has been filed and no further investigation is necessary, therefore, the applicant may be released on bail. 4.
Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.
Perused the case diary and the documents. Taking into consideration the quantity of cannabis and the facts that charge sheet has been filed, the applicant is in jail since 19-02-2017, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly this application is allowed. 6.
It is directed that the applicant shall be released on bail on his furnishing
-2personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the concerned trial court for his appearance before the said court as and when directed.
