The petitioner, who is working as Lab Technician on contract basis, has preferred this writ petition seeking benefit of revised contract salary, which has been made admissible to similarly placed employees by the State
Government's circular dated 9-9-2009 and 31-3-2012. Reliance is also placed on the order passed by this Court in Jay Prakash Gupta Vs. State of Chhattisgarh & others1.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that on fresh representation being filed by the petitioner within a period of one month, the same shall be decided by the respondents within a further period of three months.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case JUDGE ashu WP (S) No.1234/2013, decided on 29-4-2013
